跑者沒有選擇天氣的權利,下班後看雨勢減緩,出門跑LSD把前幾天未跑的量補足。運氣還不錯,幾乎全程都無雨或小雨,但前幾公里在東海大學裡天還沒黑時有點悶悶的,一直期待雨下大一點,在跑了將近兩個小時之後、快19公里時傾盆大雨終於下來了!雨勢只維持了十分鐘就再度停歇,不久也抵達潭子。第一次夜跑潭雅神,又是在雨中,別有一番風味,而且也因為天氣之故沒有過多的人車擁擠,全程只碰到兩個跑者、散步和騎腳踏車的各不到20人。
